New software application just released – Supply Order, Inventory Control, and Billing.
DSS has just completed the final release of a custom software application for a building-supply business. Originally, this company came to Digital Sabre with a request for a custom solution to accommodate its growing business. Several conversations and an onsite visit to identify necessary requirements yielded a competitive proposal to create a custom application. The cost for the custom application was the same as an “off-the-shelf” application once you included 3 years of license fees with the purchase price. Furthermore, the “off-the-shelf” application didn’t have everything our customer needed. Three years down the road, they would have spent the same amount and still not had it all. The decision was obvious!
Some of the more important features of this custom application include:
- Customer / vendor / operator management
- Item catalogue upload / edit
- Order/ PO (Purchase Order) management
- Invoicing and invoice management
A recent analysis of the completed application’s features, from start to finish, confirms that this application will successfully and efficiently advance their business. In fact, it’s proving to be so profitable, the client is already asking for more features. They are ecstatic, and more than impressed with our ability to capture their vision by creating a custom application that runs every aspect of their business. Once they are comfortable with the new order-entry program, we will plan a version 2 release that incorporates several fine-tuned details that further automates their business.
