Challenge/Opportunity:
A national speaker’s bureau came to Digital Sabre Solutions in need of an internal processes overhaul. Technology was practically non-existent and everything within the organization was done by hand, consuming endless hours of manpower. The bureau needed a more efficient system to track the extensive list of speakers, speaking engagements, and parties they interact with to create a specific speaking event. Approximately ten different contracts related to any single speaking event, which needed to be entered, categorized, and retrievable. Digital Sabre was able to develop a customized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solution to bring the speaker’s bureau into the 21st century.

A powerful database was created to house all speaker information in one central location. Speaker data need only be entered once, resulting in improved efficiency and significant cost savings.
A user-friendly interface suggests a common-sense approach to data mining and provides the client with a pleasant, professional experience.
All speaking events are now easily created, stored, and retrieved online, from any Internet connection throughout the world.
A robust searchable system includes the capability to check the availability of speakers for a particular event, seek speakers within a specific price range, ensure event details are accurate and complete, and more.
The CRM online model can handle a higher volume of clients simultaneously as they search for the speaking event appropriate to their lifestyle and situation.
 
Conclusion:
No longer does the speaker’s bureau have to contend with the mounds of paperwork involved in publicizing a speaking engagement. With the new online system, all the information is now located in one central location, saving the company considerable time and money.  The bureau can now handle many more speaking events at once, customers can easily find speaker information any time from any where in the world, and event information is more timely and accurate. This new internal process has dramatically increased efficiency, providing the company with a greater ability to respond to their customers’ needs while contributing to a significant growth in business.
