Born in 1955, Mahesh Amalean had his early education at Royal College, Colombo. A chemical engineer by profession, he is now the Chairman of MAS Holdings (Private) Limited of Sri Lanka.

Chetan Amalean – CEO

Chetan Amalean, CEO of Digital Sabre, is a graduate of UNC Charlotte and has made Charlotte, NC his home for the past 8 years. His career has carried him to Sri Lanka, Singapore and Texas working for some of the most respected companies IT in the world.

He transformed Digital Intersect (DI) from a web design firm to an international outsourcing IT company delivering reliable and cost effective software solutions. His success has led to the formation of DSS with MAS Holdings.

Will Leger – VP of Sales

Will has been in the technology business since 1986. As Vice President of Sales, Will comes to Sabre with extensive sales experience in IT services, eCommerce, managed services, Web site design, and search engine optimization. Boasting both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, plus certification in computer networks, Will has developed an expert, intuitive understanding of today’s vast technology and how it can enrich business processes.

Chandima Cooray – Chief Operating Officer

Chandima is the Chief Technical Officer and a founding member of the team that worked with MAS Holdings to set up Sabre Technologies. He was the architect for the Sabre RTS system that does real-time data capture and processing for apparel manufacturers worldwide. His technical team developed this core product suite for Sabre and won recognition locally and internationally for innovation. He comes with more than 10 years of experience in IT solution development. He started his career at Unilever, where he was a member of a global IT Project for its tea business. He joined MAS Holdings in 1998 as the IT Manager for one of its business units.

Janaka Samaraweera – Project Manager

BSC (Hons.) in Computing & Business Administration at IT (PG Dip). Over 7 years of experience in software development, which includes 4+ years of Project Management. Has an in-depth knowledge of designing & developing E-commerce applications, Content management systems & Apparel Production flow management systems. Has managed teams with 20+ team members both as an on-site and a offshore PM.

He has developed very good customer relationship management skills and team building skills and played a pivotal role in building up the current e-commerce team from 5 to 25. Has very good estimation, planning and tracking skills.
